On my other blog, we often manually set a published date different from when the post was actually written. This has generally worked fine with Blogger, with a few quirks. But recently, I discovered that the "recent items" feed had stopped displaying posts that were new but with an older published date. I think maybe the default feed settings have changed, and this isn't documented? Or I'm looking in the wrong places.
In any case, I discovered (by trial and error) that I can get the feed I want with this syntax:
http://BLOG.blogspot.com/posts/default?orderby=updated
This is not the syntax I found here or here (I wish more of those query parameters were supported).
Maybe I will have to play with Yahoo pipes to see if I can get the filtered versions of the feed that I want
